Hi All,
I’m looking for troubleshooting help.
I just found the announcement to this Classroom IDE feature: [Seamless teaching and learning through GitHub Classroom and Visual Studio Code | The GitHub Blog](Seamless teaching and learning through GitHub Classroom and Visual Studio Code)
I and my colleague tried this on a test classroom assignment, making sure VS Code is the selected IDE, and the test repo was created with no problem for a test student.
Problem: Inside the test student’s repo, I clicked on the “Open in VS Code” button at the bottom of the README. VS Code on my local machine opens but the GitHub Classroom extension then gives the following error.
"The limit of requests to retrieve your assignments has been exceeded. Some assignments may not be displayed."
Also, the Classrooms panel in VS Code says:
"You have not accepted any assignments. Accept an assignment sent to you via email or ask your instructor for a link."
I don’t have a clue as to what the Classroom extension is looking for and cannot find.
